Andii did say Evanescence were bollox, but I quite like them.

But Evanescence isn't a "Glam" type of band. I haven't seen Andii slag off any Glam bands, other than Poze, but now he likes Poze! It's one of those things that I love about the guy, and I don't want it seen as a slam. The man BLEEDS this style of music more than almost anybody I have even run across. Marky is the other Pure Blooded Glammy. Not to mention our GlamRockKid, with his tattooed eyeliner.

Evanescence is basically a more melodic Nu Metal band with Swedish Metal highlights, from what I have picked up on.

I liked BBJ, but don't feel they were under, or over-rated. They were a pretty good band, but was not glam. I think they got lumped in because of the Faster Pussycat connection. Like Sandi said, "An Old Friend" and "This Time Last Year" are 2 awesome tunes that I still listen to a lot. I also love "Paint Me a Picture". I will say that I thought there was quite a bit of filler, besides these and a few others. They were very good live, and had some good tunes. That's all I can say.

i never considered them a glam band just a bad band no matter what genre they belonged to. to me it comes done to the vocals and his voice just does not do anything for me. same with Jet68, i actually like the music but the voice, the voice, it just kills it for me.

i actually threw on the cd just now to see if i was missing anything. nothing. to me its bland. just because someone does something different doesn't mean they are doing something good. just my opinion which sometimes is unpopular here.
